As some of you may know, the Wiiware game "Doc Louis's Punch Out!!", a game where you play as Little Mac as he trains with Doc before going into the circuits, and as Mac, must fight Doc Louis in a friendly sparring much, with the same gameplay as the recently released Punch-Out!!.
There are three modes, "Warm Up", which is basically a tutorial, with Doc Louis using very few moves and being quite weak, "Training"
which is slightly more difficult, and would be considered 'Contender' Doc Louis, with him being faster and with more moves, and finally, "Sparring", this is a much more difficult fight, and would be considered 'Title Defense' Doc Louis. Once again, his previous punches return, faster and stronger, but with several additions.
Text really doesn't do it justice, here are some videos of all three modes...

Wow, I wasn't aware of this.
I wouldn't buy it though...
EDIT: Oh, it's a reward from Club Nintendo. Not bad.

I didn't reach Platinum status due to not having enough points. Desk Calender is just as good.....I guess.

What's the controls like? Wii Sports boxing or just button mashing?

Well, I assume it's the same controls as the main version, which has excellent controls, with the Wiimote on it's side, so it plays like the NES version, very responsive and tight, the only bad thing is that the D-Pad could be a little bigger, but otherwise it's perfect.
That said, don't bother with the motion controls+balance board, it's quite unresponsive, and well...can you say waggle-fest?
Man, I wish I had followed Doc Louis's advice and joined Club Nintendo today...

The Australian Club Nintendo didn't offer this, so it wouldn't of actually meant anything if you had joined

Really? That sucks.
Also, I'm suprised that no one has commented on Doc Louis's "transformation" yet.
This just in: Doc Louis invented the Star Punch!
You know, it makes me want a Punch-Out game starring Doc Louis in his glory days, as in, before he became a chocolate obsessed has been...
I'm suprised by the total lack of interest in this...

It's probably due to the fact that it's not available in Aus yet. Sadly, Punch Out hasn't proven to be all that popular either (thanks to Nintendo's decision to not promote the game).
Which really is a shame as it looks like a quality product.
I'm still trying to re-master Super Punch Out at the moment

Ah, Super Punch Out is awesome, I wish Dragon Chan and Narcis Prince were in PO:Wii, just imagine nailing Prince's face with a star punch and seeing him flip out in 3D. Awesome isn't it?
